# Launch Your First Study

> Organization registration, team setup, and study activation.

Once your organization is approved, you build your study protocol, set a geographic scope, include goals, and launch on your own timeline.

    Go to [studies.jaspari.com/signup](https://studies.jaspari.com/signup) and set up your organization. See [Account Setup](/sharing/account-setup) for what's needed to get approved.

  <Step title="Set your eligibility">
    Build your eligibility profile from conditions, medications, and quantitative or qualitative criteria. Use grouping when you need to require more than one at once. See [Eligibility Parameters](/studies/eligibility-parameters).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a study format and add sites">
    Pick site-based, virtual, or hybrid. If your study uses physical sites, attach them. See [Study Formats](/studies/study-formats).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your geographic scope">
    Scope recruitment to a radius around a site, a list of ZIP codes, one or more states, or nationwide. Currently, only regions within the United States are available. See [Geographic Scope](/studies/geographic-scope).

  <Step title="Set your enrollment goal and launch">
    Enter your enrollment goal and target completion date, then launch. See [Enrollment Goals](/studies/enrollment-goals) for what these settings do, and [Setup & Launch](/studies/setup-and-launch) for what has to be true before a study can go live.

  <Step title="Pause your study at any time">
    Your study may be manually paused at any time. Alternatively, if your set limits are reached, your recruitment pauses.

<Tip>
  Most study fields stay editable while a study is in draft, active, or paused. A small set of fields (name, study type, delivery model, phase, protocol number) lock the moment you launch. Confirm those before you go live.
